Privacy Policy
What information this website collects, why it collects it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy explains how thehardrx.com handles information collected through this website. It does not cover the merchant's checkout, the prescribing medical practice or the dispensing pharmacy. Once you leave this Site by following an order link, that destination's own privacy policy applies to everything you enter there, including any health information and payment details. We never receive that data.
2. Information you give us
We collect information only when you choose to send it. That means the name, email address and message you submit through our contact form, and the email address you submit if you sign up for updates in the footer. We do not ask for and do not want your medical history, prescription details, date of birth, Social Security number or payment card information anywhere on this Site. Please do not include sensitive health details in a contact message.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server and analytics tooling record technical information when a page loads: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device category, screen size, referring URL, the pages viewed, and the date and time of the visit. This is used in aggregate to understand traffic patterns, diagnose errors and improve the Site. We do not use it to try to identify individual visitors.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and comparable technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the Site functioning. Analytics cookies help us count visits and understand which pages are useful. Affiliate tracking cookies record that a visitor arrived at the merchant from this Site so that any resulting commission is correctly attributed; they typically persist for a limited period.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and you can usually opt out of analytics collection through the analytics provider's own opt-out tool. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site behave. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where our systems are able to detect them.
5. How we use information
We use the information described above to respond to enquiries you send us; to send updates if you asked for them; to measure and improve site performance and content; to attribute affiliate referrals; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
6. We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract — our web host, our email provider, our analytics provider and our affiliate network — and where disclosure is required by law, court order or a valid governmental request, or is necessary to protect our rights, property or the safety of others. If our business were transferred, information could pass to a successor entity under the same commitments.
7. Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up on a conversation, then deleted. Newsletter addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Aggregated analytics data is retained in de-identified form. Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then rotated out.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to request correction of inaccurate information, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA; residents of several other states have comparable rights under their own statutes.
To exercise any of them, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will verify the request through the email address on file and respond within the period required by applicable law. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorisation.
9. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because we deliberately do not collect health or payment data, the information at risk here is minimal by design.
10. Children
This Site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Do Not Track
Browsers vary in how they transmit Do Not Track signals and there is no agreed standard for responding to them, so we do not currently respond to DNT headers. We do respond to Global Privacy Control signals where detectable.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. Material changes will be indicated by the revision date at the top of this page. Please review it periodically.
